How do I change or update my password while working outside of the office?

If you have not enrolled in Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication, please click here and follow the steps provided in that article. Once you are enrolled in Microsoft MFA, please follow the steps below to change your FirstFleet password while working remotely.

 

1. Go to https://www.office.com/ and click Sign in

2. Enter your FirstFleet email address and click Next

3. Click Forgot my password

4. Enter the necessary characters and click Next

5. Select the radio button next to I forgot my password and click Next

6. Select the radio button next to the 1st Authentication method you wish to perform

  • Text my mobile phone (you must enter your 10-digit cell phone number and click Text; a code will be texted to your phone)
  • Call my mobile phone (you must enter your 10-digit cell phone number and click Call; the system will call you and provide you with a code)
  • Approve a notification on my authenticator app (you will receive a notification to the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone)
  • Enter a code from my authenticator app (you must open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone and tap the entry for your FirstFleet email address in order to retrieve the code)

 

7. Enter the code or approve the notification and click Next

8. Select the radio button next to the 2nd Authentication method you wish to perform

9. Enter the code or approve the notification and click Next

10. Enter and confirm your new password then click Finish (you will receive an error if your password does not meet complexity requirements)

11. You will receive confirmation when your password has been updated successfully

NOTE: Please continue to log into your computer with your old password until you are back in a FirstFleet office or connected to the VPN. Your new password will work for everything else your Windows password is used for (Outlook, TS Connect, TMW, VPN, etc.). Log into your computer using the new password the next time you're connected to the FirstFleet network.
