How do I change my default printer?

The "Default Printer" is the printer that Windows will assume you want to print to initially when you select print from any Windows application. If you wish to change this setting there are two simple steps.

 

  • From the "Start Menu" select "Printers and Faxes"

  • In the window that opens locate the printer you wish to be your default. Right click the printer and select "Set as Default"
