A photo for your email profile can be a nice touch to enhance communication and reinforce the culture of our organization. If you would like to add a personal photo in Outlook the steps are listed below for Office 2010, 2013 and 2016.
We do request that if you choose to load a photo please ensure this photo includes a picture of yourself – avoid photos of your dog, your grand-kids & super heroes. Please use your best judgement to provide a good representation of FirstFleet in your communication.
If you have Office 2016 or 2013 (Outlook Icon is Blue) – this is the most common.
- In Outlook click the File menu in the top left.
- Locate where it shows a Grey image and click “Change”
- You will be taken to a web page where you need to login using your email address and the password you use to access your computer each day.
- Click the “pencil” under the photo and follow the instructions to upload a new image from your computer.
- After you upload the image you will see there is a SAVE button – that’s an important step.
- Once you have completed those tasks it may take a few hours for the photo to be replicated around but it will begin to be accessible by those who get email from you.
- Remember this photo will go with your emails that you send –please use your best judgement to provide a good representation of FirstFleet in your communications.
